This comprehensive guide will walk you through the essential concepts and practical steps needed to master this topic. By the end of this article, you'll have a solid understanding of the key principles and be ready to implement them in your workflow.
Setting up cold email the traditional way takes a lot of separate jobs. You buy domains at a registrar. You create a Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 tenant. You add a user and a licence for every sender, add the mail records to each domain's DNS, and set up app passwords. Then you connect every mailbox to your sending tool, one at a time. Ten mailboxes means ten rounds of copying and pasting, and one typo in a DNS record can quietly push your emails into spam.
Done-For-You Inboxes in Oppora replace all of that with one guided flow and one checkout. You choose a provider, pick your domains, name your senders, and pay once. Oppora then registers the domains, creates the mailboxes, and connects each one to your sending engine.
This guide walks through every screen, from an empty account to inboxes ready to warm up.
getacmecorp.com) and keep your main domain's reputation safe.Spam filters score the domain as well as the message. If a cold campaign gets complaints, the damage lands on whichever domain sent it. Sending from a few similar domains means your company's own domain, the one your invoices and customer emails come from, is never at risk.
Oppora's own setup tip is a good starting point: 5 domains with 4 mailboxes each. At the default 30 emails per mailbox per day, that's up to 600 emails a day spread across 20 inboxes, each sending at a volume that looks normal.
Go to Email in the left sidebar. On a new account you'll see an empty state with two options: connect an inbox you already have, or have mailboxes set up for you. Click Buy mailboxes.

You can also reach this flow from the Domains tab, or from the Buy mailboxes card inside Connect Email.
Pick the provider your new mailboxes will run on. Both come with the same daily sending limit, and you can mix providers by placing separate orders.

How to choose: if most of your prospects use Google, Google Workspace mailboxes are a natural fit. If you sell to enterprises that run Microsoft 365, Microsoft mailboxes blend in. Many teams run both.
Type your brand name or a keyword and click Search. Oppora shows the exact match, if it's available, and a list of suggestions that are confirmed available.

acmecorp). You can also choose other endings, such as .net or .org, from the dropdown.A few things are handled for you here:
.com is the default because it has the best deliverability and the lowest price.Prospects often type a sender's domain into their browser to check who's emailing them. If they land on an empty page, that looks suspicious. Enter your main website and anyone who visits your new domains is sent there.

Click Save & Continue.
Oppora suggests mailboxes based on your name straight away. To add more senders, type a first name, last name and the part of the address before the @, then choose which domain(s) they go on. Pick All to create the same sender on every domain in one click.

Mailbox names are checked before you pay: no spaces, no addresses that start or end with dots or dashes, and no more than five mailboxes per domain. Anything the provider would reject is caught now, not after you've been charged.
Emails from a sender with a real photo look more trustworthy, both in the inbox and in the prospect's mail app. If any mailbox is missing a picture, Oppora asks for one. Upload a single image and it's applied to every account. You can also set a photo per mailbox from the list.

These details are used to register the domains and for billing. Oppora pre-fills what it already knows about you and your organisation, so this is usually a quick check.

Click Continue to Payment.
The billing summary shows what you're paying for before anything is charged:

The terms are short and in plain view. Mailboxes renew monthly. Removing one mid-month isn't refunded. Mailbox passwords aren't shared, so the same mailbox isn't logged into from many places at once. Multiple logins from different locations are a common reason providers block mailboxes and IP addresses.
Tick the box and click Pay Now to finish in Stripe's secure checkout.
You'll see your order number and a full breakdown, and a receipt arrives by email. You can download the invoice at any time.

This is where most of the time savings come from. Everything below runs in the background:
It also protects you from billing mistakes. A domain is never bought twice, and a payment confirmation that arrives twice never charges you twice.
Your new domains appear on the Domains tab with their provider, how many mailboxes each has, and the renewal date.

Your mailboxes appear on Email Accounts, connected and ready to send.

Next, start warmup. The Warm up Status column shows Ready to start. Click it to begin warming each mailbox. New domains need time to build a sending reputation, so let warmup run for a couple of weeks before a mailbox joins a live campaign.
You can change each mailbox's daily limit with the pencil icon in Max Emails Per Day.
How long until I can send? Setup runs automatically after payment and you'll get an email when your mailboxes are ready. Even so, plan a warmup period before sending campaigns from new domains. That advice applies whichever tool you use.
Can I log in to the mailboxes directly? No. Mailbox passwords aren't shared, which prevents simultaneous logins from different places. Those logins are a common reason providers block mailboxes. Oppora handles sending and receiving for you.
How many mailboxes should I put on each domain? Up to five are allowed. Most teams use two to four, so each domain's volume stays modest.
I already own domains. Do I have to buy new ones? No. You can connect a domain you already own and pay only for the mailboxes. See our guide: Bring Your Own Domain: Connect a Domain You Already Own to Oppora.
Ready to set up your outbound infrastructure? Open Email → Buy mailboxes in Oppora and you can go from an empty account to a set of inboxes ready for warmup in one sitting.
