Oppora’s Claude MCP is Live. Connect our Email Database & Outreach features with any tool to build smart automations inside Claude.
This comprehensive guide will walk you through the essential concepts and practical steps needed to master this topic. By the end of this article, you'll have a solid understanding of the key principles and be ready to implement them in your workflow.
A list is the workspace where everything you source comes to rest. Jobs, companies, people, and workflows are all saved inside lists — and in Oppora, every action happens on a list. You prospect in Finder, but you enrich, score, automate, and launch campaigns from a list.
A single list can hold companies, people, and jobs together, and it tracks how many of its leads have verified emails. Lists are the bridge between prospecting (Finder, workflows) and outreach (campaigns).

My Lists — each list shows its companies, people, jobs, total/verified emails, and row actions.
My Lists: folders group related lists; each list row shows counts and quick actions.
It's easy to confuse the two, so here's the plain distinction:
For example, you might create a folder named for a date and drop every list you built that day into it, or group lists by campaign, client, or region. A folder is nothing more than a way to keep related lists together.
In the UI: On the My Lists page, folders can be expanded to reveal the lists inside them (for example, the folder "new one" containing the "Enterprise Employers" list). The counts on a folder row summarize the lists it contains.
Lists can be created from many places across Oppora — you're rarely more than a click away from making one:
Leads and companies you get from Oppora are already verified and enriched. Data you bring in yourself — a CSV of leads, or jobs pulled via the Chrome extension from LinkedIn, Glassdoor, SimplyHired, or Indeed — may need verifying (for emails) or enriching (for companies) before you rely on it. See Section 2 for the enrichment actions and their costs.
Open a list and you'll find its contents organized into tabs, each with a count:
Tab | What it holds | What you can do |
Jobs | Job postings tied to the list (e.g. from a Job Finder run or extension import) | Search, add columns, filter by date added, export, add jobs |
Companies | The accounts in the list, with industry, type, category, and links | Search, filter, enrich, find people, add columns, create a campaign |
People | The leads in the list, with title, company, email, and phone | Search, add/find email & phone, start lead scoring, add columns, more actions |
Workflow | Automations attached to this list | Create a workflow or choose a template to run on the list |
A list's Companies tab — company, people count, links, industry, company type, category, and actions.
Inside a list: the Companies, People, Jobs, and Workflow tabs each act on that list's data.
The Tab Preferences control lets you choose which tabs and columns appear, and Ora's Pulse on the list surfaces AI notes about the list's contents.
On the My Lists page, each list row carries a set of quick-action icons:
Icon (in order) | Action | What it does |
1 — pencil | Edit | Rename or edit the list's details |
2 — copy | Duplicate | Make a copy of the list |
3 — arrow | Move to Folder | Move the list under a folder |
4 — folder+ | Copy to Folder | Copy the list into a folder |
5 — trash | Delete | Remove the list |
The Verified Emails badge
The green count badge in the Verified Emails column shows how many valid email addresses the list contains. In Oppora, addresses are verified before they're shown, so emails we provide are already valid. If you upload your own leads, run them through the email verifier — then this badge reflects how many are safe to send to.
Why it matters: Campaigns can only email leads that have a verified address. Use the Verified Emails badge to gauge a list's true reachable size before you build a campaign from it.
3.6 From a List to a Campaign
Once a list has verified, ICP-matched leads, it's ready for outreach:
You can keep adding leads to a list even while a campaign built from it is running; new leads join the queue. If the campaign uses AI personalization, generate content for the new leads first. (Full campaign flow is covered in the Campaigns section and the Campaign Handbook.)
Best practice: Keep one clean list per motion rather than one giant mixed list. Smaller, well-verified, ICP-tight lists produce better AI copy, cleaner reporting, and fewer skipped recipients.
